Colton is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in WA State with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. He receives ongoing training through our rigorous Inside Passage Couples Therapy Training Program in an integrative approach that focuses heavily on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Colton provides a compassionate and safe space for couples and individuals to be vulnerable and take emotional risks. He can help couples improve communication, gain greater understanding about each other, and practice skills for resolving conflict. Colton has an interest in supporting individuals and couples through grief and closing the emotional distance between one another, and walks alongside his clients through these challenging experiences to help create a meaningful and fulfilling life. Whether suffering from anxiety and depression, looking for help with major life changes, wanting to grow your self-esteem and confidence, or overcoming negative relationship dynamics, Colton supports his clients in gaining a deeper understanding of how they relate to their own identity and lived experiences, allowing them to get “unstuck” in their lives and relationships. Clients describe Colton’s style as warm, non-judgmental, transparent, empowering, proactive, affirming, and genuine.
