Inside Passage Counseling Can Help
Find your way back to each other.
Relationships are one of life’s greatest joys—but when disconnection sets in, they can also bring frustration, loneliness, and heartbreak. You and your partner may feel stuck in the same painful cycles—miscommunication, unresolved conflicts, or trust that feels fragile. Conversations turn into arguments, or worse, silence. The closeness you once shared feels distant.
At Inside Passage Counseling, we provide a healing space to help you and your partner reconnect. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, we guide you to break negative patterns, improve communication, and rebuild trust.
Regardless of how stuck things feel, repair is possible. Together, we’ll help you create a relationship where both of you feel seen, valued, and deeply connected.
- Gain Better Communication: Break free from the patterns of misunderstandings and learn how to express yourself in a way that fosters connection.
- Learn Conflict Resolution Skills: Stop repeating the same arguments and learn how to navigate disagreements in a way that strengthens your relationship.
- Find Deeper Emotional Connection: Feel close, valued, and understood by your partner, rebuilding intimacy and trust.
- Cultivate a Stronger, More Secure Relationship: Gain tools and support to create a partnership that feels stable, fulfilling, and resilient.

Powerfully effective Couples Counseling
We are Leaders in the Gold-Standards of Couples Therapy.
If you’re looking to deepen your connection, manage emotional challenges, strengthen your communication and improve your romantic relationship, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy can be a transformative choice.
Based on Dr. John Gottman’s 40 years of research on what makes love last, The Gottman Method is designed to help couples strengthen their relationships in three primary areas: friendship, conflict management, and creation of shared meaning.
Do you need immediate relief for your relationship and want to expedite the therapy process? Intensive Couples Therapy is a private, immersive experience designed to help couples move through weeks of high quality couples therapy in only 3 days.
"The three-day intensive was exactly what we needed. We had been stuck in the same arguments for years, barely talking without tension. In just one weekend, we uncovered the deeper issues driving our conflicts and finally felt heard and understood. It was exhausting, emotional, and absolutely worth it. We left with renewed love, clear communication tools, and hope for our future together."
"We came to therapy feeling like we were at the end of the road. After an affair, trust felt shattered, and we weren’t sure if we could ever rebuild. Through this process, we learned how to communicate honestly, repair the damage, and truly understand each other’s needs. It wasn’t easy, but with the support and guidance of our therapist, we found our way back to each other. Today, our relationship is stronger than ever—built on openness, vulnerability, and real connection."
"After years of marriage, we felt more like roommates than partners. We loved each other but had lost the spark. Therapy helped us reconnect, understand what we both needed emotionally and physically, and bring playfulness and affection back into our relationship. We feel closer now than we have in years, and we’re so grateful we took this step together."

Our rates for 50-minute individual and couple’s therapy sessions range from $160-$215, depending on the provider. 80-minute sessions are available upon request and cost 1.5 times the 50-minute amount. Please inquire about rates for individual and couple’s therapy intensives.
Your scheduled time is reserved just for you. If you need to cancel your session, we kindly ask that you notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment so there is time for that opening to be filled by another client. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged the therapist’s full rate for the session. As a courtesy, you can always reschedule to another time within the same week and apply that session charge.
For individual therapy: We are out-of-network with all insurances at this time. This means that payment is due at the time of service and we can submit superbills on your behalf for your insurance to send reimbursement directly to you (depending on your insurance plan). We are also happy to check your out-of-network benefits for you!
For couples and family therapy: This is a private pay service only. In couples and family counseling, we identify all members of the relationship jointly as our client. We do not identify an individual client with a mental health disorder diagnosis. This means that our couples and family counseling services are not considered to be “Medically Necessary” by insurance companies and are not covered by insurance.
For therapy intensives: IFS individual therapy intensives and EFT couples therapy intensives are private pay only and are not covered by insurance.
We always start with an initial session. Over the years, we’ve learned that a full 50-minute therapy session works best to figure out if you and your therapist click. During your initial session, you can share why you’re seeking help, hear how your therapist plans to assist, and make sure it feels like a good fit for everyone moving forward. While the initial session does cost the full rate, think of it as an important investment in making sure you’re on the right path for your therapeutic journey.
After the initial session, if both you and the therapist decide it’s a fit to continue working together, we schedule recurring sessions for the same day and time, securing a dedicated ‘time slot’ on your therapist’s schedule. This not only streamlines the scheduling process, sparing you from the effort of constant rescheduling, but it also ensures consistency and prioritizes your continuity of care by reserving a specific time for your sessions. If for some reason your schedule does not allow for this way of booking, we can also help you schedule in another way.
