Suzanne Strisik, PhD, Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Suzanne Strisik is a Licensed Psychologist with 33 years of professional experience as a clinician, university professor, supervisor, and training clinic director. Most recently, Suzanne took a 1-year sabbatical from Inside Passage Counseling to train in Jungian Psychoanalysis. With her advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Functional Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (a trauma treatment), Suzanne helps clients overcome the obstacles to wellbeing, and find a sense of meaning and vitality. Suzanne sees life’s problems as trailheads, beginning points from which she accompanies her clients through the vibrant landscape of the self, and helps to resolve obstacles that interfere with forward movement along the path. In her Jungian psychoanalytic work with clients, she employs dream work and active imagination to decipher the language of the self to recall cut-off parts of the self, and find new ways of being. Whether clients are feeling lost, hopeless, cut off from their own vitality and sense of meaning, or struggling with depression or anxiety, clients find therapy with Dr. Strisik to be engaging, enlivening, and effective in restoring sound functional contact with their lives.
