Dr. Suzanne Strisik is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience and is dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate obstacles to well-being. Dr. Strisik takes into account the effect of inter-generational family dynamics, social and cultural influences, and individual needs to help clients discern the changes and, perhaps, the risks needed for living fully with confidence. Her therapeutic orientation is humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, systemic and values-oriented, with a particular focus in cultivating a capacity to connect in a comfortable way with others. As a retired professor of psychology, Dr.Strisik has published and presented on topics seasonal affective disorder, family systems, culturally responsive therapy, and anxiety management. Specializing in trauma and relationship therapy, Dr. Strisik works according to Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) models. Dr. Strisik’s approach is characterized by warmth, empathy, and a skillful commitment to helping clients navigate their personal and relational challenges with insight and resilience.
