Dr. Tina Du Rocher Schudlich is a Licensed Psychologist with 13 years of professional experience helping children, adolescents, and families with a wide range of challenges, and an additional 20 years in the field as a researcher, trainer, supervisor and educator of Master’s level counseling students. Tina specializes in treating children and teens with neurodivergence, autism spectrum, anxiety, OCD, trauma, behavioral problems and painful beliefs, as well as supporting parents who feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and helpless. Tina walks alongside children and families, helping create safety, skills, and space that allow their natural resilience and relationships to strengthen. With a relational, systems-informed, and trauma sensitive approach that centers on connection, Tina works flexibly with children, teens, and their families, weaving in parental support and attending to the ways family dynamics and broader systemic factors influence and support each child’s experience.
With a background in both developmental and counseling psychology, and extensive training in Trauma-Focused CBT, Incredible Years Parenting Programs, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Filial Play Therapy and more, these approaches offer practical strategies alongside relational healing–supporting both behavior change and deeper family connection. Whether children or teens are feeling big emotions, thinking “no one likes me,” or figuring out how they fit in in the world, or parents feel like they don’t know how to help their child or are reacting in ways they later regret, Tina attunes her responses and communication to each person she works with, always bringing sensitivity and humility to her interactions. With a steady, grounded, and patient presence, while also bringing a sense of playfulness and lightheartedness, Tina truly loves working with children and their families, and finds deep meaning and joy in her work.
